Pet Name: Fern
Racing Name: Untamed Passion
DOB: 03/16/03
Cat Safe: No
Small Dog: Yes

Fern is a small Black girl with a  white chest and white toes.  Her registered name is Untamed Passion and she ran 78 races. Here is a link to Greyhound Data where you may look at her lineage and races.

Fern retired in 2006 and then went to a Greyhound Farm to be bred.  She decided she did not want to be a mother (she never came in heat) so now she is looking for a soft pillow in her forever home.

Fern does not like dogs to run up to her face. But besides that she is a happy little girl.  She loves for a person to still on the floor so she may bury her head in their chest.

She is currently in a foster home with other dogs besides Greyhounds.
Pet Name: Comet
Racing Name: Not Applicable
Small Dog Safe: Yes
Cat Safe: Yes

Comet was found wandering the streets in Lawton , OK .  She appears to be full greyhound, but does not have any tattoos to signify that she was a racer.  If only dogs could talk, I think Comet would have a few stories to tell!  She has several scars that seem to be from old injuries and one pretty big scar under her belly.

For a dog who has had a rough life, she sure has come through beautifully.  She is so easy going and gets along with everyone. She is very laid back and is not skittish or nervous at all.  She is cat and small dog safe. She is house broken but not quite couch broken!  She will get on the couch or bed at every chance she gets, but immediately gets down when caught.  She is kennel trained and stays in it when home alone and overnight.

The vet has guessed Comet is about 4 years old and does not seem to have any health concerns. She is fine with children and other dogs, but does not like to play rough.

My name is now Annie & I'm 5 years old.  I had a home until the people decided they wanted to move.  I can be an only dog but I would like to have a medium or large playmate but no small ones. My foster Mom says I could probably learn to like school age children that are gentle but small children scare me.  All I want is a family to love & that will love me.  Are you the one?
Registered name: Dream Babe
Call name: Babe
Don't let the grey on my face fool you-that's from having a liter of pups!  I maybe 8 years old but I really think I'm 8 months instead.  I love to run in the yard with all my foster brothers & sisters, play in the rain puddles & nap.  I'm house broken & haven't decided if small creatures are worth bothering with or not.  I'm good with my Whippet foster sister but haven't met the cats yet.
Registered name: Indelible Lady
Call name: Lady
I'm a sweet 6 year old brindle girl that is full of life.  My foster Mom says I'm a busy girl because I want to check everything out.  I am house trained and don't need to be crated.  Please don't ask me to live with small creatures as they all look like snacks!
Holly
I come with my own dowry including a nice warm coat, toys, & my crate.  I'm afraid of storms so my crate is my "safe place"  if the door is left open I will go there to nap so I'm out of the way.  Really I'm a very happy girl, just want my own home again.
I'm also cat & small dog safe.
